Pamela Lee Gives
Up Sex- Video Fight
Pamela Anderson Lee and her rocker husband,
Tommy Lee, have thrown in the towel in their legal fight to get their homemade
sex- filled videotape off the Internet and settled with the company distributing it.
In a statement released on Monday, Internet Entertainment Group said that the
Lees had "dropped their attempt to bar . . . IEG from distributing over
the World Wide Web a notorious video that shows them in intimate sexual
relations." The couple sued IEG last month for invasion of privacy and
receiving stolen property, claiming that the tape was taken from their Malibu
home in 1995. The video was originally put up on November 6, but was yanked
after only five hours even though the site was jammed with horny curiosity
seekers. Both sides agreed to go into binding arbitration to settle the
dispute.
Terms of the final agreement were not disclosed by the Seattle- based Internet company, and Marleah Leslie, the Lees' spokeswoman, said she was
not allowed to discuss the settlement. "The Lees have never intended to
profit, nor have they profited, from the stolen tape and are sick about the
whole situation," Leslie said. She said the couple wants to put the entire
episode behind them "and focus on the upcoming birth of their second son,
Dylan Jagger." For those who are interested, and you know who you are, the
thirty- nine- minute video, which IEG bills as featuring a "wild and sex- filled boat trip . . . and other intimate scenes," was put back up on the
company's Web site on Monday. And yes, we know the address. And no, we're not
gonna tell you.
