A toned down (and stripped down) Pamela
Anderson Lee adorns the cover of the December issue of Jane magazine.
Looking more like Patricia Arquette than the ex-Baywatch babe that she
is, Anderson Lee poses nude with her 3-year-old son Brandon — although the
result is less revealing than, say, Demi Moore covers of years past.
The magazine, whose title is nearly obscured by Pammy's head, says only
"Pamela Anderson Lee, Naked," and mentions no other stories inside.
Hey, who needs more selling points than a near-naked Pam?
The V.I.P. actress's handlers tell interviewer Susan Colon that
Anderson Lee won't answer questions on the removal of her implants or her rocky
relationship with Tommy Lee. But Pam disregards the warning to speak frankly on
all subjects. "I'm a blabbermouth. I'll say whatever is on my mind,"
she says.
Anderson Lee says her relationship with Tommy, who spent time in jail for
beating her, is now more stable. "I know I've made the right decision [to
stay with him], but I still feel like there's a lot to do," she says. She
reveals Tommy's still in anger-management classes but that he needs it more to
learn from the other truly angry participants. "Tommy's in there like, 'Uh,
hi, yesterday I was really angry because I burnt the toast," she laughs.
"He doesn't know what to say anymore, but he thinks it helps him because he
sees people in so much denial."
She says that despite appearances and past news stories, Tommy's a
compassionate guy: "You wouldn't think so. I mean, a lot of people wouldn't
think so, you know — tattooed rocker, gun-toting, Anderson Lee says she sees herself growing old with Tommy, "I'll tell
these stories when [our sons'] first girlfriends come over and I'm all wrinkled
up in a chair with tattoos all sagging down to my ankles. I picture Tommy and me
that way. Old, toothless, on a bench somewhere with our tattoos and stuff, still
thinking that we're pretty cool."
She surmises how her kids, whom she says she hates to discipline, will turn
out. "They'll say, 'Don't tell me you're dating one of the Lee boys,'"
she predicts, but immediately counters it by saying, "Then again, the kids
will probably rebel against us and become librarians and accountants."
The seemingly wild couple have now added structure to their lives,
"which is so weird for both of us because we're very spontaneous
people," says Anderson Lee. That includes adding a "date night"
once a week in which they "go out for coffee or go to the movies or
something."
