Webwatch
Pam Anderson's No. 1 fan

After Tommy Lee, Jay Irvine may be Pam Anderson Lee's biggest defender. The Canadian-based Internet marketer is keeper of "Pamwatch," the official homepage of Pam Lee, formerly Pam Anderson, of "Baywatch." The site (http://www.pamwatch.com) features gifs of Pamela and other must-have info for admirers of the blonde bombshell. The popular site doesn't net much profit for Irvine, owner of Imageworks Online, which produces "Pamwatch." Nevertheless, maintaining the site is a labor of love. "I am a personal fan of Pamela Lee and Tommy Lee. With Pamela, I've watched her since she was the 'tool time girl,' Lisa, on ABC's 'Home Improvement,'" says Irvine, 27, a married father of three. "And with Tommy, with my eleven years of drumming experience, he was a MAJOR influence in my life. He was sort of an idol."

While there are numerous web shrines devoted to the actress, "Pamwatch" is the only homepage sanctioned by both Tommy and Pamela. That's why Irvine got so angry when reports surfaced recently in Newsweek, CNN and other media grouping "Pamwatch" with various online sites that featured x-rated photos and video of Pamela. While unauthorized nude pictures of the Lees were being swapped on the Internet --mostly through Usenet groups-- "Pamwatch" was not one of the rogue sites engaging in such mischief. "The entire reason 'Pamwatch' was formed was to combat false reports about Pamela," says Irvine. "We are here on the Net trying to give people an insight into who Pamela really is, not who the media paint her to be. She is far and away one of the sweetest, most considerate women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.... It's amazing [that] with all the negative things that have been printed about them they remain as strong as they are. You've got to admire that. So basically, we're pissed off because we want people to know the truth, not what sells the best in magazines."

November 10, 1999.

Update November 1999 "Post Script" to Jay Irvine's note.

Pamwatch.com has been purchased By Daniel L. D'Hondt.

In purchasing this site, it is my personal goal to continue with Jay Irvines excellent work and keep Pamwatch "The One Stop" to find out what's going on in Pam's life & career.

We hope that as a result of the positive reflection this site has on both Pamela and Baywatch, that we will be able to continue the repoir that Jay Irvine has established with Pamela & the Baywatch staff.

Presently I am looking for some help in "up-dating" Pamwatch, if you are interested in becoming involved, drop me a note Help with Pamwatch! Please mention "Help with Pamwatch" in the subject line, and what your skills & abilities are and how you would like to help (e.g. I am interested in scanning articles, pictures, I have HTML skill's, etc.) In exchange you will get some great name recognition, and have the opportunity to be involved with one of the most famous Pamela Anderson Lee sites online!

Please bookmark Pamwatch and tell your friends as well. Lots of new visitors is what will keep the site up & running!
