Are Pamela Anderson Lee and Tommy Lee splitsville again? Entertainment Tonight reported Thursday that Pamela has moved out of the couples' home and into a rented beach house in The Colony in Malibu.

The alleged split follows on the heels of another problem for Tommy: He's recently been placed on 18 months probation for a 1997 fight at a Mötley Crüe concert.

However, in today's New York Daily News, friends of the famous duo say they're baffled by reports of a breakup.

An unidentified "close friend" of rock and roller Tommy tells the paper, "I was with him last week, and he said things couldn't be better. They are very happy. They're 100 percent together."

The Daily News confirms that Anderson has rented the beach house. According to "a friend of Lee's," Tommy is staying in the house they own because it's close to his rehearsal space where he's preparing for his upcoming tour with new band Methods of Mayhem.

The Lees, who married in 1995, divorced in 1998, and reconciled in 1999, have been planning to remarry soon. Tommy spent time in jail after being convicted of battering then-wife Pamela, where he underwent anger management classes.

And, if you believe what you read in the tabloids, the National Enquirer reports that Anderson fled to The Colony after Lee smashed a vase in their Mulholland Drive home.

The tabloid claims that while Lee was on a promotional tour for his new band, she rented the beach house, moving in Feb. 16. The Enquirer also claims that Pamela is putting their house up for sale — and that she has a new guy waiting in the wings.

"I own that house," Pam reportedly told a close friend. "And I'm selling it. That loser will be out on the street."

Reps for the couple did not return our calls.
